The weekend of July 12th to 13th saw Clark St. James Motorsport, one of the Tanso Racing Group teams, take on its first-ever 24-hour endurance race, and what a debut it was.
Competing in the prestigious iRacing Spa24, the team of Harry Price, Andy White, Tim Reid, Craig Corish, and Sean Clark qualified a strong 6th. But before the green flag even flew, a jump start meant an early penalty, dropping the team to 52nd by the end of lap two.
From there, the recovery began.
Harry Price led the charge, fighting through the field and climbing back to 3rd by the six-hour mark. The team held their nerve and a top-three spot through the night. With a consistent pace, calm heads and smart pit strategy, they hit the front in the final hour and never looked back.
After 24 hours of relentless racing, Clark St. James Motorsport crossed the line as winners, with just six seconds to spare.
A phenomenal drive by all involved and a landmark moment for the team. Their first 24-hour event. Their first 24-hour win. And hopefully, the first of many.
