On the 1st of October, the roaring engines of the GR86s echoed through Road America, setting the stage for an electrifying race in the Tanso Racing Group’s Season 5!
๐ Starters and Surprises! Jt Johnston, the pole-sitter, started strong at #1, but as the race unfolded, he faced challenges that saw him ending at 16th. Meanwhile, Martyn Lee, who started off in the 2nd spot, managed to lead a lap but suffered misfortunes that placed him in 18th by the finish line.
โจ Underdog Uprising! The biggest highlight of the night came from Daniel Wareham, who steered his #173 car from 14th position all the way to snag the victory, leading an impressive 6 laps! With an average lap time of 02:34.3 and showcasing his best lap at 02:32.0 on the 3rd round, Wareham showed everyone what it means to have both consistency and speed.
๐ฅ Hot on his Heels! Ryan Dudley wasn’t far behind! Starting from the 10th position, he sliced through the competition to seize the 2nd spot, missing the top place by just a slim 0.296-second margin.
๐ Consistent Contenders! Erik Ronnenberg, Martin Feitsch, and Peter Woodmore followed, battling for their respective 4th, 5th, and 6th places. Their average lap times were so close it was almost like watching a synchronized dance on tarmac!
๐ Notable Nods! Kudos to Raz Harper, who despite finishing 17th, clocked in a stunning fast lap of 02:31.6. And let’s not forget Dave Clarke and James Smith68, who put up a good fight to finish within the top 15.
